A lot of customers ask us this before they buy, not after. That's fair. When a bottle of a well-known brand costs noticeably less at Fantasy Centre than at a shop two stores down, the natural question is whether something is different about the perfume itself. It isn't. What's different is how we run the business behind it.

We get this question most often from people who've just walked out of a mall counter or a different souq shop with a price in their head, then see ours and pause. Some assume the cheaper one must be a smaller size, a different batch, or not fully original. None of that is true here, so we'd rather explain it properly than let customers guess.

The short version: the gap comes from how we buy and how we operate, not from the product. Here's the full picture.

Where the price difference actually comes from

We operate 4 stores in Qatar and buy stock in bulk directly. That volume brings our cost per bottle down in a way a single small shop can't match, the more units we bring in at once, the better the price we get from the supplier side, and that discount carries through to our shelf price.

A mall counter is also paying for mall rent, a fitted-out display counter, and often a franchise or distribution fee layered on top of the product cost. None of that is a criticism of those shops, it's just a different cost structure, and it shows up in the final price whether or not it's stated on the receipt. Our stores are set up to keep overhead low, so more of what you pay goes toward the actual bottle, not the space around it.

This is also why our prices don't move much from month to month unless our supplier cost changes. We're not running short-term discounts to create urgency, the lower price is just the normal price.

Same original brands, not a different grade

Lower price does not mean a different product. Everything we sell is the same original stock you'd find anywhere else, just priced without the extra layers.

If you want to check this for yourself, the box should have a printed batch code, the cap and bottle should match in finish and weight, and the spray shouldn't feel weak or uneven compared to what you've smelled from that brand before. We're happy to show the batch code on any bottle before you buy, in-store or over WhatsApp.

About customers who buy in bulk and resell

Some of our customers do buy larger quantities from us and resell them elsewhere, in their own shop, online, or informally. We're fine with that, it's part of how retail works, and it's one more reason our bulk pricing stays sharp.

It does mean you'll sometimes see one of our bottles priced higher somewhere else. If a reseller buys from us at our price and adds their own margin before selling it on, that markup is theirs, not ours. So if you're comparing a price you saw elsewhere to ours, it helps to ask where that seller sourced it from. Buying directly from Fantasy Centre skips that extra layer.

Wherever you are, home, office, or a hotel, we deliver the same day, and delivery is free. There's no separate delivery charge added at checkout, and no minimum order size to qualify for it.
